Salesperson
Job Description
The Sales position will be responsible for the growth of sales within the hygiene department. Furthermore, the position will require troubleshooting and extensively checking over dairy wash systems to ensure customers are shipping quality milk to their cooperatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Based out of St. Johns
· Promote and support the sales of hygiene products
· Type up quotes and present them to potential customers
· Troubleshoot wash systems to find the source of bacteria problems
· Use test equipment to measure vacuum and pulsation levels on dairies
· Complete and submit all required paperwork daily
· Make direct sales calls to promote the growth of new business
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Superior communication and social skills
· Ability to measure alkaline, chlorine, and acid levels on wash systems (training available)
· Understanding of dairy wash systems, vacuum systems and basic dairy cow hygiene (training available)
· Ability to learn and understand new product
· Strong math skill set
Education/Experience
· Previous sales experience preferred, but not required

· Ability to lift, handle, and move dairy equipment and hygiene supplies

Installer - Dairy Farm Equipment
Summary: Travel to existing and new customer farms to install dairy equipment. Work as a team or individual to install equipment accordingly to the customer’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Establishes each job base by ordering and gathering components, completing jobs to the satisfaction of each customer in a timely manner and performing tests to ensure proper installation.
· Work on a variety of jobs: new install, update existing equipment, etc.
· Maintain rapport with customers by examining each job and keeping clear communication
· Complete and submit all required paperwork daily
· Keep company equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies and performing preventative maintenance
· Travel with Michigan
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· A thorough understanding of dairy milking equipment operation and installation. Training to reach this level is available.
· Ability to use common repair tools and techniques
· Understanding of specialty tools and equipment necessary for installing dairy milking equipment
· Good customer relationship skills
· Attention to detail and strong decision making skills
Education/Experience: Electrical experience preferred

- Welder/Fabricator
Summary: Perform welding and fabrication on dairy equipment. Repair, design and modify according to the customer’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications (Skills Required):
· Knowledge of the methods and standard practices of the welding trades: working on various metals and alloys
· Experience using tools and equipment common in welding to fabricate, fit, assemble, manufacture and repair parts and equipment
· Ability to determine the proper welding technique
· Good customer relationship skills
· Must be able to travel across Michigan Monday – Friday
· Attention to detail and strong decision making skills
Education/Experience: Experience with TIG, MIG, arc and sanitary welding
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, handle and move dairy equipment and tools
